ALEX!!!!
The following is Alex's speech, that she wrote so that you can follow along with the video. She spoke rather softly and Jody was videoing from across the room, so I tried to work with the sound but it was still hard to hear.
I am Alex. I hope you like my cookies and brownies. I want you to be nice. I hope I get Mayor. I want to help you be nice. Even if Frank or the others win, I will be happy because they are nice. But if I win I will be Happy, too. I hope I get Mayor. Vote for Alex.

Hey Casey, Good point about the post title..I so did not catch it. :) I am glad she won and I know that she is happy too.
Loving this! How adorable! And how proud I am.. Tell her that HER big cuz is super proud for campaigning and running for election! (I would say "and winning, too!" but I don't want to instill bad values in her that makes her think I'm only proud of her if she wins. See.. I'm thinking smart and cousin-ly over here. ;) )
